Chemfilm® DF1700 and DF1900 are heat bondable multilayer cast fluoropolymer films produced using a proprietary process. These films have a PTFE core with a thin layer of FEP or PFA on one surface.
Double bondable (DB) films are also available with PFA on both surfaces or FEP on one surface and PFA on the other surface. Laser markable (LM) films are also available.

Benefits
|
| Cast Film |
- Thin gauge PTFE film
- Uniform tensile properties in both machine and traverse direction
- Isotropic shrinkage as a function of temperature
|
| Multilayer |
- High degree of consolidation resulting in superior dielectric performance
- Different polymers, pigments and additives can be used in individual layers to customize performance
- Heat bondable surface can be sealed onto itself; PTFE, PFA, or FEP
|
| Fluoropolymer |
- Superior performance in a wide range of chemical, thermal and electrical environments
|
| Slitting |
- Available in slit widths to 1", supplied in pad rolls; minimum quantities apply
