OPTILINER™ and SUPRALINER™

The OptiLiner product line consists of optical grade, clear film release liners with super-clear, super-smooth coatings designed for use against optical PSAs (pressure sensitive adhesives) or for applications which require very smooth coatings.

The SupraLiner products are high-performance release coatings applied to film bases including polyester, polypropylene, polystyrene, and polyethylene. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics' SupraLiner products offer superior subsequent adhesion and are ideal for silicone-sensitive areas such as the automotive and imaging industries.

A broad range of coating technologies and chemistries allow Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics to partner with customers to develop release liner solutions tailored to the application. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics offers controlled release levels on films from .25 mil to 30 mils thick. Coating technologies include thermal and radiation curing systems.

Release Liners

Saint-Gobain offers a wide range of release coated films for a variety of end uses. We offer both Thermal and Radiation curable products. We coat onto varied film substrates and gauges of film. The coatings are processed via a variety of coating processes. We provide both custom and standard product offerings.

Specialty Coatings

Saint-Gobain offers an array of coatings for a variety of end use applications. Most were developed for a specific custom or niche application. Modifications of these products have expanded our overall selection available to our customers.

Casting Liners

Saint-Gobain has developed a line of film products that could be used as a casting or carrier surface. This product line consists of silicone and non-silicone products, as well as clear and matte varieties.

Precision Lamination

Saint-Gobain has been in the laminating business for over 30 years. We have the ability to laminate at widths of 24 – 62”w. We have 2 levels of precision clean room laminating available, Class 10,000 and Class 1000. We can handle gauges of substrate from 1 mil to 40 mils in thickness. Experienced operators, attention to quality, precision tension control, and material handling is what sets us apart from the rest.
