Norton® TSF series high modulus polyimide film provides excellent electrical, thermal, physical and chemical properties over a wide temperature range in a lightweight package (136 ft2/lb or 28 m2/kg at 1 mil), making them superior for electrical insulation applications under rigorous conditions. Our TSF product is engineered with a very high tensile modulus, along with a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) for the most exacting applications.
Norton polyimide films are produced employing a world-class process that makes them dimensionally stable and inherently isotropic, meeting exacting tolerances, physically strong and electrically sound. These products meet all of the requirements of ASTM D5213 which superseded MIL-P-46112B. Norton polyimide films are manufactured to Saint-Gobain's exacting specifications for the electrical insulation market in a class 1000 clean room environment with full vision system quality.
